A Strict Moratorium on New Model Acquisition

Fact: I have more army ideas than I have time, money and super glue. In deference to the reality of available hobby-time and resources, I have instituted a strict model-embargo at Lurz Manor until such time as both 1,000 point Ork and Space Marine armies are painted and ready for war in my Pinturama painting campaign. I will buy no more Warhammer 40,000 models, figures, or kits until that time. Yes, I need a few Space Marine units. Yes, I need some more ork boyz and gretchin units, too. Of course, I would like to add a battery of broadsides and more kroot to my existing Tau force. No, you're right, "need" is not exactly the right word to use in the case of plastic and pewter wargaming miniatures. 40k kits are neither food, air, water, shelter, or companionship. (although they are often a good substitute in a clutch) So, in summary, I will not be spending any more money on models until I paint more of the ones I already have.*

Sincerely, Chairman Tau
*of course I can't help it if someone wants to buy me something...

This is where the least-sexy of all magic happens- my work table in the garage.
